Darren Waller, a former tight end for the Baltimore Ravens, has returned to the NFL and joined the Miami Dolphins for his first practice since declaring his retirement in 2024, the team confirmed.
Earlier this offseason, Miami acquired Waller from the New York Giants in a deal that sent a 2026 sixth-round draft pick to New York in exchange for the veteran tight end and a 2026 seventh-round selection. Waller had previously been placed on the physically unable to perform list and had yet to take the field until now.
