Mexico claimed their record 10th CONCACAF Gold Cup title by defeating the United States.
The tournament, featuring 16 national teams from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean, showcased the region’s top football talent.
For its 18th edition, the Gold Cup was held across the U.S. and Canada, serving as a preview for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which these two nations will co-host along with Mexico. Saudi Arabia also participated as an invited team.
The teams were split into four groups of four, with the top two from each group moving on to the knockout rounds. The championship match took place on Sunday, July 6, at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
