U.S. Soccer will pay tribute to U.S. Men’s National Team legend Michael Bradley with a special pregame ceremony before the USA–Korea Republic match, presented by Haleon, on Saturday, Sept. 6 at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, N.J. (kickoff at 5 p.m. ET on TNT, Telemundo, HBO Max, Universo, and Peacock). Tickets for the event are available now.
Bradley, who concluded his professional playing career in 2023, earned 151 caps with the USMNT — the third-most in program history, behind only Cobi Jones and Landon Donovan. His 141 starts rank second all-time, just one behind Donovan, and he’s tied for third in appearances during World Cup Qualifying with 40 matches. Over his career, he captained the national team on 48 occasions.
Named U.S. Soccer Male Player of the Year in 2015, Bradley is a two-time Concacaf Gold Cup champion (2007 and 2017) and winner of the 2017 tournament’s Golden Ball as its best player. He was also selected to the Concacaf Men’s Best XI in 2015, 2017, and 2019.
This recognition is part of U.S. Soccer’s effort to honor exceptional careers by formally acknowledging retired Men’s and Women’s National Team players who have earned at least 100 caps and competed in two world-level tournaments (World Cups or Olympic Games). This honor applies to players who retired in 2019 or later.
